Legacy Kapiti – CHANGE OF DATE & VENUE

There has been a change of date and venue for the next Legacy Users Group meeting.

DATE : Saturday 3rd December
PLACE: the Senior Citizens Rooms, 45 Ocean Road, Paraparaumu Beach. (Now called the Ocean Road Community Centre)

Rooms open 12.30 pm to 5 pm Meeting from 2 pm to 4 pm

Normal meeting, not a workshop. ***

From 12-30pm bring your own lunch if you would like to eat with others before our last meeting for the year.
Tea and coffee available.

Actual meeting will start at 2.00pm as usual.

Cost: $2
A reminder will be sent later in the month to those on the Legacy mail list.
Apologies for having to change the date and place at such short notice.

Annual workshop with Jan Gow, QSM FSG on the use of Legacy and other Genealogy

Kapiti Senior Citizens’ Centre, 45 Ocean Road, Paraparaumu Beach.

Doors open at 8.00 am for 9.00 am start

Cost: $30.00 for the day

Payment: by cheque made out to Kapiti Genealogy and posted to

Legacy, c/o Meryl Opie, PO Box 178, Paraparaumu, 5254.

Bookings for registration and payment would be preferred before attendance by Saturday 22nd November.

That will give us time to organize nametags, seating etc.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience.

Food:

Tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits will be provided at each break. Disposable cups may be used. You may bring your own cup if you wish.

Bring your own lunch, or if preferred, local cafes are at Paraparaumu Beach, Mitre 10, Mega or Coastlands.

You may like to stay and have dinner, please let us know when booking and we will endeavour to book the required number of seats. (Everyone pays for themselves)

Volunteers needed – 2 for the kitchen morning and another 2 for the afternoon.
At the end of the day the chairs will need to be stacked and tables will need to be dismantled and the hall & kitchen will need to be cleaned before we leave.

Bring our laptop (optional) & Power lead and multi-box .
