We are delighted to let you know that the He Tohu exhibition is officially opening this week, and on Saturday 20 May there will be a Whanau Day to which you are all invited. The National Library and Archives NZ will run a programme of family-friendly events from 10am to 4pm. Included will be exhibition tours, presentations, craft activities, roaming performers, cultural performances, and the Amazing Travelling Photo Booth. Special guests include Julian and Christian Dennison. For programme details see the National Library website https://natlib.govt.nz/events/2017/5/20
Please note that the National Library building will be closed all day on May 19, as we prepare to open He Tohu. This includes the Turnbull reading rooms, the galleries, and HOME café. Our online services will be available.
