The Irish Interest Group – Lower North Island are having an Irish Education Day to be held at Kilwinning Lodge, 391-393 Church Street, Palmerston North on Saturday, 15 October 2016 from 9.30 am till 3 pm.
Learn how to read and understand Griffith’s Valuation and Tithe Records with Geraldene O’Reilly using both microfiche and the web.
Graeme McVerry will be demonstrating finding maps and websites for Irish genealogy.
There will also be a selection of books available for research.

There is no Wi-Fi at the venue, so it will help if you bring your own laptop or iPad with an internet stick/toggle connection if you have one. (Note: that the organisers do have some computers available but they will need to be shared)
