NZSG Rules:
Our governing body, the New Zealand Society of Genealogists, underwent a major revision of its rules in 2015 resulting in revised rules registered as at Feb 2017 with subsequent minor amendments to present day (Apr 2020).
As a Branch of the NZSG we do not have rules of our own, so are governed by the NZSG rules.
Details are available to NZSG members from their website, but as the rules impact all of our membership, not only those belonging to NZSG a copy is included here.
Please log in to access the documents.
Included in these rules are those for Branch Extraordinary General Meetings (Section 12.6), and the Disposal of Assets (Section 12.12) should a branch cease to exist.
Updated Nov 2021 to include current NZSG Vision Statement and Rules. Please log in to access.
