As at library closing time Friday 24th August, the status of our computer upgrade at the Alison Procter Family History Centre (APFHC) is good news, and not yet good news.
Business mostly as usual for anyone wishing to use computers 1, 3 or 4 during the weekend.
The “mostly” referring to lack of printing facilities – so take a memory stick if you wish to save your finds.
The not so good news is that computer 2 wasn’t working when the team left on Friday. Will be investigated at a later date.
The new computers and the replacement printer are in place, but not yet connected to anything, nor loaded with our cds.
Further updates will be posted here when available.
Thank you for your patience, and apologies for the inconvenience.
